TEAM TRAINING WITH CONNER MORRO

Located at The Athlete's Turf in Mississauga, ON, True North Sports Performance provides team training sessions with Head Performance Coach Conner Morro.

Teams will receive customized programming; breaking athletes into groups of position, training age, etc. In each session athletes will work through an individual training day and receive expert-level coaching.

WHAT A TEAM SESSION LOOKS LIKE

We work with an extremely limited number of teams in-person. See below to learn exactly how we structure each team training session and if this is the right program for your team.

Start training

ONGOING ASSESSMENT

Before your team begins training, each athlete will undergo a thorough assessment to under the why behind their performance. From there, each session we’ll track key metrics like your mobility, strength, readiness, and more to build an evolving picture of each athlete.

MOBILITY WARMUP

Based on each athletes unique demands, the sessions training objectives, training phase, and various other factors, our staff will structure a customized mobility warmup to prep the team for the session. Athletes will be guided through this step-by-step ensuring proper technique is followed and range of motion adaptations are taking place.

SPEED & AGILITY

Once primed for the day, most sessions will include a speed & agility component before moving the team into the weight room. This will be periodized and progressed depending on time of year, training history, and numerous other factors.

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

Next, the bulk of the session will be spent in the weight room working through an individualized strength & conditioning training plan. Here athletes will receive coaching on exercise technique that can implemented on their own while following the provided monthly programming for your team.

What is the largest team size that you can work with?

We feel comfortable working with teams of up to 20 athletes. Our facility is large enough to make sure quality training is still completed, even with a full team.

How old will you start working with teams?

We have worked with teams from 13u all the way to the collegiate level.
