What you get:
A complete 3-month performance program for young baseball players just getting into strength & conditioning.
Our Baseball Futures Program is an online 3-month program designed specifically for baseball players new to the weight room. Each workout and month will take athletes step-by-step through basic movement patterns and prepare them for more serious performance training in the future.
The Baseball Futures program is a pre-built 3-month program specifically designed for youth baseball players in need of an introductory strength an conditioning program. The program comes complete with 5 training days per week: 3 full body strength focused days, 1 mobility & armcare focused day and 1 speed/dynamic focused day. Workouts will range from 20-45 minutes in duration.
On day 1 of the program, we conduct an initial assessment to see where the athlete is currently at. Using this information, we can make any adjustments needed to their training for the next 4 weeks. The focus of month one of the program is to improve athletes proprioception (spatial awareness and coordination) along with on-boarding them into a consistent training routine.
Once the athlete has adapted to training consistently, the difficulty of the program will progress in month two. During this training phase, the athlete will be challenged by adding eccentric tempo to their training. This will increase inter/intra muscular coordination, along with inducing a larger hypertrophy stimulus.
During the final month of the program, the athlete will be challenged by progressing exercise selection, along with adding isometric holds. Progressing the exercise selection will challenge the athlete by either being able to add more load (weight) to the movement, or altering the movement itself to make it more challenging. Isometric holds will increase strength, and challenge the athletes stability in specific positions and joint angles.
At the end of each week, our athletes will receive a check in form on the app. This will allow them to provide any feedback they have about the past week of training, or any questions they may have. Having a check in with our athletes is key to getting the best results possible.
